LI TV, Asia’s ground-breaking, 24-hour lifestyle television channel has ordered a Channel Management System from Broadcast Traffic Systems.

The BTS application will be used to manage LI’s scheduling, programme management and advertising sales operations. The system will be used by LI personnel in the company’s headquarters in Malaysia and a regional office in Singapore.

Jason Roberts, the BTS Project Manager said “A significant benefit of the BTS application is that the system is designed to support users in different locations without the need for complex communications architecture, so it is an ideal solution for broadcasters who have multiple locations.” Roberts added “This order demonstrates our commitment and continued success in the Asia region, we expecting orders from further broadcasters in the coming months.”

The BTS features selected by LI include sophisticated processes that help automate the scheduling and ad-sales processes so reducing user workload and reducing errors. The system also includes sophisticated programme rights processing features to assist in the management of LI’s programme library.
